Finding the proper mental & physical outlets for your dog

Whether you have a purebred or a mixed breed, your dog’s unique genetics are reflected in their temperament and the behavior they present. Have you ever wondered why Pointers point, herders herd, and hound dogs howl? While training can emphasize these behaviors and make them productive for specific jobs, these breeds display all of these behaviors naturally. Dogs that were bred for a specific job can become destructive or dangerous if they are not given healthy outlets. Very few dog breeds are specifically bred for companionship. Even Yorkshire terriers were bred to hunt rats on ships! Their small size allowed them to get in between barrels and into tight spaces. Your dog not only wants but needs a job. Let us give them one.
Raw/fresh food vs. kibble
Whether you are considering switching to raw or want to stick with kibble, my goal is to empower you to learn about the various and surprising ways you can boost your dog or cats health. I will take budget and convenience into account when assisting you in improving your dogs nutrition. Equally as important, I will educate you on the things you don't need. For example, do you find yourself buying affordable, lower quality kibble but spending extra on supplements? Cutting out unnecessary purchases that the pet industry makes you feel you need will allow you more opportunities to improve your dog or cats nutrition.
